jQuery Impromptu

I love French language, although I forgot most of it. Just a little side note – I knew it pretty well over a decade ago, but now I can spot some words coming from France, apart from still keeping my basic knowledge of that beautiful language. “Impromptu” comes from French, but its origins can be found in Latin, and its usually used to describe something improvised, done without taking too much time to get things ready.
jQuery Impromptu
According to its official website, jQuery Impromptu “is an extention (sic!!!) to help provide a more pleasant way to spontaneously prompt a user for input.” With it, you can easily replace alerts, prompts, and user confirmations, allowing you to create forms within such controls.

While jQuery Impromptu wasn’t built to become a modal replacement, this can prove to be quite a useful and easy to use tool for turning user input into a pleasant action, since the look and feel of the message boxes created with jQuery Impromptu can be easily tuned via CSS.

jQuery Impromptu allows you to change prompt and overlay speeds, while also being able to support sequential messages and display any HTML content. Since this piece of code is also well documented, I guess we should stop here, but not before the final words about compatibility & requirements, as usual…

Compatibility: jQuery Impromptu needs any major browser with JavaScript enabled, and (obviously), jQuery
