epiClock

For a pretty long time, I lived without a clock or a cell phone, that after having both of them. I can tell you that dropping those two devices that turn you into a slave is a real blessing, but – unfortunately – you can’t live like this forever… or maybe you can, but most of us can’t. Anyway, if you want to have some clocks ticking on your site, I got a little something for you right here, right now! 😉

The piece of code I found is called epiClock, and while some may people could say this is a trivial jQuery plugin, being right about it, there’s also some truth in claiming that we’re talking about a useful component that can help you add a bit of extra information to any online project.

With custom display options, epiClock allows you to change clock configuration on-the-fly, supporting a pretty wide range of clock models, like countdown/countup clock, current local time, time zone/arbitrary offsets, and more. To see the available clocks in action and take a first look at the code needed to set them up, you should take a look at this demo page.
