While some people can’t start a day without having a glass of milk, I have no problem missing that part, as long as I eat something. This morning, for example, I had an awesome tuna salad made by my own hands, but I won’t release the recipe into the wild, no matter what you say (photos available on request, if you’re really curious). Why am I talking about food? The reason should be very simple…
… since Milkbox made me think about it instantly, before anything else! Milkbox is far from food, anyway, because this is a mooTools lightbox script that’s very easy to use in your projects, also adding a pretty cool animated element to your website.
Its wide array of features allows you to add Flash videos, XML galleries and images (yeah, food images included, yummie!) without breaking a sweat, with additional capabilities like autoplay (delayed autoplay also included), keyboard navigation, and even a fully customizable graphics interface (via CSS or JS options).
Compatibility: Milkbox works like a charm with IE, Safari, Firefox, according to its author, but Opera and Chrome users shouldn’t have any problems with it, either; basically, this should work with any major browser with JavaScript enabled (and FlashPlayer installed & working, when using it with Flash content)
