wdCalendar

If you hate Google Calendar or simply looking for something different, today I got a little something for you, namely wdCalendar, a jQuery plugin that does about the same things, and since even its creators call it “a clone,” let’s consider it a Google Calendar clone (if you ask me, I think the clone looks a bit better than the original). To make it even more interesting, the company behind this script, web-delicious.com, offers a few other interesting tools, so if wdCalendar doesn’t hit you, maybe something else from these guys will… 😛

According to the official mumbo-jumbo, this jQuery-based Google Calendar clone has most of the features one can find in the original, namely day/week/month views, drag & drop support for creating/updating/removing events, easy database integration and… go check the live demo here, will you? 😉

Covered by the terms of the LGPL License, wdCalendar can handle multi-day events really well, and if you’re one of those who really hate Chinese clones… this may help you change your mind, at least a bit! Obviously, wdCalendar requires a Java-enabled browser, so I don’t think there will be any compatibility problems for most people. That’s all, folks! 😉
