WP e-Customer (beta) is an all-in-one solution for running an online business using Wordpress. The tools provided will help you provide excellent customer service, build communities, increase sales, reduce refunds, care for clients and reduce administration time.
Development is ongoing. Please provide feedback and debug for big discounts on the premium packags and subscription. Development and testing will be constant throughout 2014 so expect the premium edition to be complete beginning of 2015.
Translators Needed
Translators will be listed on the plugin, on my website and will get increase level of affiliate commission based on how much translation is done. I will be listing one official translator from a region and plan to restrict affiliate registrations to one per region also. I will be seeking to hire translators to create video tutorials and moderator the WebTechGlobal forums nearer the end of 2014.
Alpha or Beta
The plugin is split into many sections with some sections not even being started yet. Each section could be a plugin on its own due to the amount of features planned. It will take over a year to finish according to the project specifications but it made sense to release the plugin as soon as there were working features. As a result the free edition will be considered beta far into 2014 and the premium edition will be a beta near the end of 2014.
Installation

Please note that many behaviours and some instructions are based on my own Wordpress and phpBB setup while I develop the plugin. I'm very keen to provide integration ability suitable for most Wordpress sites so please let me know what plugins you are using. I've also quickly hacked phpBB for bridge functionality but this is not required if you do not intend to use the forum.
- If you require phpBB forum integration please be aware that I am working with phpBB version 3.0.11
- phpBB database tables require prefix "phpbb_" (this will change when we add settings)
- Temporary rename phpBB function validate_username() to wtg_validate_username() (using mass search and replace) this is to prevent the same function name in Wordpress conflicting
- Temporary rename phpBB function make_clickable() to wtg_make_clickable() (using mass search and replace) this is to prevent the same function name in Wordpress conflicting
- Temporary rename phpBB function copy_dir() to wtg_copy_dir() (using mass search and replace) this is to prevent the same function name in Wordpress conflicting
- Upload the
wp-e-customersfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the WP e-Customers plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
- Configure the plugin by going to the main Settings screen (proceed to each Settings screen per service you intend to use)
- Login to your blog as a subscriber and test as a subscriber
- Integration with WP e-Store is available and WP e-Customers will automatically make use of it once WP e-Store is activated
